Refund policy

At CarbonTailor, we want you to shop with confidence. Please review the following return and refund guidelines before making your purchase.

1. In-Stock Products

  • Return Window: You may return in-stock items within 30 days of delivery.

  • Condition Requirements: Items must be uninstalled, in new condition, and in their original packaging.

  • Return Costs:

    • Buyer’s reason (wrong model, changed mind, no longer needed) → Buyer pays return shipping; a 10–15% restocking fee may apply.

    • Seller’s reason (wrong item shipped or defective product) → Free return and full refund.

  • Refunds: Approved returns will receive a full refund for the product(s) only. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days after approval; bank processing may take additional time.

2. Custom Products

Includes items such as steering wheels, body kits, wheels, and other made-to-order products.

  • Order Cancellation: Can be canceled within 24 hours for a full refund.

  • Non-Returnable: Once production begins, custom products are non-returnable and non-refundable.

  • Defective or Damaged Items: If a custom product has a manufacturing defect or was damaged during shipping, you may request a refund or replacement. Please report the issue as soon as possible after receiving the item.

3. Return Process

  1. Request a Return Authorization (RA): Contact carbontailorinfo@gmail.com with your order details to receive an RA and return instructions.

  2. Packaging: Return items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during shipping.

  3. Shipping: Use insured shipping if possible; loss or damage during transit is the buyer’s responsibility unless the return is due to seller error.

4. Inspection & Restocking

  • Returned items will be inspected for:

    • Damage, including cosmetic flaws

    • Missing parts or accessories

    • Signs of use or installation

  • Restocking Fee: If applicable, a 10–15% restocking fee will be deducted along with any shipping costs.

5. Defective or Incorrect Items

  • Report Time: Notify us within 72 hours of receipt for in-stock items.

  • Required Information: Include photos and a description of the problem.

  • CarbonTailor will review and provide a resolution.

6. Shipping & Refused Deliveries

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is the seller’s fault.

  • If a shipment is rejected or refused, the return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

  • For free-shipping orders, the standard shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.

7. Price Adjustments

  • Prices may change without notice.

  • If an item goes on sale within 7 days of your purchase and you paid full price, you may request a price adjustment.

  • Discounted orders or promotions (e.g., free shipping) are not eligible for adjustments.
