Refund policy

At CarbonTailor, we want you to shop with confidence. This Return & Refund Policy explains when returns and refunds are available, who is responsible for return shipping costs, how to request a return, and when you can expect your refund.

Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

1. In-Stock Products

For products that are listed as in-stock and are not made-to-order or customized:

Return Window

You may request a return within 30 days of the date your order is delivered.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the item must:

  • Be unused and uninstalled
  • Be in new and resalable condition
  • Not have any damage, scratches, modifications, or signs of installation
  • Include all original parts, accessories, hardware, and packaging

Products that have been installed, modified, damaged, or used may not be eligible for a return.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Buyer’s reason: If the return is due to a change of mind, ordering the wrong model, selecting the wrong option, no longer needing the product, or another reason not caused by CarbonTailor, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
  • Seller’s reason: If CarbonTailor shipped the wrong item or the product is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect, CarbonTailor will provide an appropriate return solution and cover reasonable return shipping costs.

Restocking Fee

For returns due to the buyer’s reason, a 10–15% restocking fee may apply, depending on the condition of the returned product and packaging.

Any applicable restocking fee and non-refundable shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.

2. Custom & Made-to-Order Products

Custom and made-to-order products include, but are not limited to:

  • Custom steering wheels
  • Custom body kits
  • Custom wheels
  • Bespoke automotive products
  • Products manufactured according to customer-selected specifications
  • Other products specifically made or modified for an individual order

Order Cancellation

Custom or made-to-order orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided that production has not started.

Once production has started, the order cannot normally be canceled, returned, or refunded due to a change of mind or customer preference.

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Custom Products

If a custom product arrives:

  • Damaged during shipping
  • With a confirmed manufacturing defect
  • Significantly different from the specifications confirmed by the customer
  • Incorrectly manufactured or incorrectly supplied by CarbonTailor

please contact us as soon as possible.

Depending on the circumstances, CarbonTailor may provide a replacement, repair, partial refund, or full refund.

3. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery whenever possible.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the product
  • Photos of the packaging if the product was damaged during shipping
  • Photos or videos showing the issue, fitment problem, or defect when applicable

Our team will review the information and determine the appropriate resolution.

Depending on the circumstances, we may provide:

  • Replacement parts or products
  • A replacement shipment
  • Repair or other corrective action
  • A partial refund
  • A full refund

We may request additional photos or videos before approving a return, replacement, or refund.

4. Return Process

To request a return:

Step 1 — Contact Us

Email carbontailorinfo@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number
  • The product you wish to return
  • The reason for the return
  • Photos or other information when applicable

Step 2 — Receive Return Authorization

Do not send the product back before receiving written return instructions from CarbonTailor.

If your return is approved, we will provide you with the appropriate return instructions and return address by email.

Step 3 — Package the Product

The product must be securely packaged to prevent damage during return shipping.

Please include all applicable parts, accessories, hardware, and original packaging.

Step 4 — Ship the Product

Ship the package according to the return instructions provided by CarbonTailor.

We recommend using a shipping service that provides tracking and insurance.

5. Important Return Address Notice

Please do not send any return package to the CarbonTailor registered business address, billing address, or the address shown on your original shipment unless we specifically instruct you to do so in writing.

For security and processing purposes, the correct return address will be provided by CarbonTailor after your return request has been reviewed and approved.

Packages sent to an unauthorized address may be delayed, refused, lost, or may not be eligible for a refund.

6. Return Inspection

Once the returned product is received, CarbonTailor will inspect the item to determine whether it meets the return requirements.

We may inspect for:

  • Signs of installation or use
  • Physical or cosmetic damage
  • Scratches or modifications
  • Missing parts or accessories
  • Missing or damaged original packaging
  • Any other condition that affects the product's resaleability

If the returned product does not meet the return requirements, we may reduce the refund amount or reject the return.

7. Refunds

Once the returned product has been received and inspected, CarbonTailor will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

If approved:

  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method
  • Refunds are normally processed within 10 business days after the return has been approved
  • Your bank, credit card provider, PayPal, or other payment provider may require additional processing time before the funds appear in your account

Refund Amount

Unless otherwise stated:

  • The refund applies to the eligible product price
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility when the return is due to the buyer’s reason
  • Any applicable restocking fee will be deducted from the refund
  • Shipping costs will generally only be refunded when the return is caused by an error or confirmed defect attributable to CarbonTailor

8. Refused or Rejected Deliveries

If you refuse or reject a shipment after it has been dispatched, the shipment may be returned to us by the carrier.

In such cases:

  • Return shipping and other carrier charges may be deducted from any eligible refund
  • Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable
  • Additional costs caused by refusing the shipment may be the customer’s responsibility

If you believe there is a problem with your shipment, please contact us before refusing delivery so that we can assist you.

9. Price Adjustments

Our prices may change without notice.

If the same product goes on sale within 7 days of your purchase, you may contact us to request a price adjustment.

Price adjustments are subject to approval and are not guaranteed.

Orders purchased using discount codes, promotional pricing, free-shipping promotions, clearance pricing, or other special offers may not qualify for a price adjustment.

10. Exchanges

For standard in-stock products, exchanges may be available depending on product availability and the reason for the exchange.

For custom or made-to-order products, exchanges are generally not available unless the product is defective, damaged, incorrectly manufactured, or incorrectly supplied by CarbonTailor.
